To use the tool, go to „PostGIS Operations” and select „Convex” from the list of tools and select
obiekty na podstawie których ma zostać przeprowadzona operacja.
A tool that allows you to create a polygon layer from a linear source layer, taking into account the gaps between them.
To use the tool, go to „PostGIS Operations” and select „Line for polygon (holes)” from the list of tools and select the objects on the basis of which the operation is to be performed.
A tool that allows you to simplify the geometry of polygon or line layers. When the tool is used, an object with fewer vertices is created in place of the source object.
To use the tool, you need to start editing on the layer in which the object you are interested in is located. Then select it and by selecting the appropriate icon use the „Simplify object” tool. Then select the tolerance for which we want the object to be simplified. After setting the tolerance and starting the tool, we will notice the effect in the form of a reduced number of vertices of the object.
A tool that allows you to reverse the geometry of objects clockwise, by a user-specified angle. The object is rotated around its own centroid.
To use the tool, you need to start editing on the layer in which the object you are interested in is located. Then select it and by selecting the appropriate icon use the „Rotate by a given angle” tool. After selecting the tool, select the value of rotation by which the object should rotate. Immediately after accepting the value of the rotation, we will notice the effect in the form of a rotated object.
A tool that allows you to enlarge an indicated object by the value of the coefficient indicated by the user in relation to the source object.
To use the tool, you need to start editing on the layer in which the object you are interested in is located. Then select it and by selecting the appropriate icon use the „Resize object” tool. Then, indicate the factor by which the output object should be enlarged in relation to the source object. Immediately after accepting the magnification factor, we will notice the effect in the form of an enlarged object.
Tool that generates a point layer from the intersections of the source polygon or line layer.
To use the tool, you need to start editing on the layer in which the object you are interested in is located. Then select it and by selecting the appropriate icon use the „Extract intersections” tool. Then choose a name for the newly created point layer. After confirming the name, a point layer is created where the objects will reflect where the source object intersects.
A tool that allows you to create a line layer that is an outline of selected objects on the source layer.
To use the tool, go to „PostGIS Operations” and select „Outline” from the list of tools and select the objects on the basis of which the operation is to be performed.
A tool that extracts features or portions of features on one layer that are either outside or overlapping a second polygon that acts as an overlay layer. Objects in the first layer that partially overlap with objects in the second layer are split along the boundary of those objects, and only those parts outside the second layer are kept.
To use the tool, you need to start editing on the layer in which the object you are interested in is located. Then, you should select two objects, in an important order, because the geometry of the first selected object will be subtracted from the geometry of the second selected object. Then, when you select the „Polygon Difference” tool icon, an object will be created that is part of the second selected object, without the overlapping part of the first selected object.
